Ringlights are ideal for macro and microphotography to achieve shadow free illumination. The ring is usually clamped around the camera lens or a stereo microscope's objective. At 100mm the 64 LED light has almost the same brightness, as does the 144 LED. The 144 LED throws the light further and that makes it particularly useful for camera macrophotography.
